At Vertem, there are no limitations on what we may be able to provide to you. We understand that every business has differing needs, demands and different ways of working. Whether you are looking for an investment solution to satisfy your core proposition or a specialist service to compliment your existing offering we are here to help. Our USP is the flexibility to create an investment solution around the way you operate, even our managed portfolio services can be built to the way you work and the systems/processes you use, they can be completely unique to your practice rather than being ‘off the shelf’ products where you have to work out how to use them.
We offer both personalised portfolios and managed portfolio services exclusively to the clients of professional intermediaries. Both are available via a variety of account types including general accounts, ISAs, SIPPs, offshore bonds, trusts, charity accounts, corporate pensions and auto-enrolment schemes. We can also look after clients who are subject to FACTA reporting requirements and help you provide a solution to clients that fall in to this bracket.
Each and every portfolio is genuinely unique from inception for any given client, rather than the ‘models dressed as bespoke’ approach that sadly dominates the market. Our proprietary asset allocation methodology generates individual allocations that vary based on the timing of original investment, not following a pre-set formula used for all and can be modified to reflect individual preferences. The investments selected then reflect the unique needs, biases and preferences of each client plus the timing of their investment, not necessarily buying the investments already held for existing clients.
Ours is a personal service: We believe in keeping clients informed and responding to any questions on their personal investments or the economic environment. We want investors to feel connected to their investments. We aim to look after wealth with intellectual rigour, quality service and attention to detail.
Importantly, we have no in-house financial planning function, so have no conflicts of interest with our adviser clients. We do not want to compete for the same clients as advisers, preferring to work with advisers as a trusted business partner. In our marketing, we openly encourage investors to use a financial adviser. Our background means that we understand the importance of client relationships to an adviser’s business and we always treat them with the appropriate respect and care.
